In this universe, Sylvester is an elf whose parents were eaten by the monstrous Gloamhorn when he was a child. Raised by Druids and unaware of his past, he left at fifteen to protect those terrorized by the Feathered Souls. During his work, he was attacked by a Feathered Soul, and was infected by Corviora venom and began transforming into a Feathered Soul, but halted it with his own experimental cure—leaving him with feathered arms and a large bird-foot scar on his chest.

Now, dressed in white and hiding his elf ears from the judgemental Citygoers, Sylvester is the only doctor who can truly cure the afflicted. Seeing himself in Tate, he teaches her to embrace her curse and use her powers to protect those she loves. He’s accompanied by Quill, a messenger crow, and draws on his Druid upbringing to craft over fifty kinds of soups.
