Nestor, once a lighthearted elf and friend of Alorion at Mage Academy, was a brilliant Creation Mage who sought to be the top of their class. Though skilled, he failed a critical test by a small mistake, forcing him to spend another year at the Academy while Alorion advanced. Frustrated, he sought out the Dragon Crystal, making a deal for immortality and immense power—but the Crystal corrupted him with greed and darkness.

Now known only as the Crystalbearer, he created the Feathered Souls and turned against Alorion, offering her immortality alongside him, which she rejected. Over trillions of years, his body has decayed, leaving him a walking mummy, barely recognizable and consumed entirely by the Crystal’s curse.
