Mason is a rude boy who boarded the Train because he hated his family and his life on the Surface. He has never learned manners and is rude to everyone on the train, no matter how nice they are to him. However, as he slowly got to know the residents, he gradually became more considerate and became good friends with the residents.

He is very curious about the Flying Train's secret, and would always snoop in other's businesses. This became a threat to the contract made by Nox and A.B., and A.B. became anxious over Mason due to his compulsive investigating. This led to Eclipse toying and stalking Mason, to make sure he wouldn't discover the truth.
