Elias Blackthorne is a very secretive man. He dresses like a plague doctor, but nobody knows what he actually does as a career. He took in two children in need, who were unique and had no parents to raise them. He rarely shows his face, and people have theories if he is actually human or not. He was quite tall, and would strike fear in Keiran any time he would encounter him. The Blackthornes had a very large manor, so Keiran had a theory that maybe the Master had a family but they all died somehow.
